A free job-training program for San Francisco residents aged 17 and over, that leads to union apprenticeship positions.

Provides full-time training (Monday-Friday 8am-4pm for 14 weeks) in carpentry, general construction, remedial education and provides post-training job referral and placement assistance. Questions regarding applicant eligibility should be directed to AND staff at the Harrison Street location. Wheelchair accessible.

Develops affordable family housing, namely 555 Ellis Family Apartments (a 38-unit building), Connecticut Street Court (10-unit apartment building), and Minna Park Family Apartments (a 26-unit building). Call Caritas Management Corporation: 415-647-7191 to inquire about availability and applications. A.N.D. also does community urban planning, architectural design, and family self-sufficiency education.

Contact Jamie Brewster, Site Manager at 415-575-0423 x201 for more information about the Employment Training Center (ETC). ETC orientation is held every Thursday at 10:00am to provide an opportunity to learn more details about the program and ask questions.

There is a free job-training program for San Francisco residents, aged 17 and over, with a focus on Green Construction/Solar Panel Installation with placements happening in the non union sector.

AND provides full-time training, 37.5 hours of weekly training (Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 3:30. p.m. for 14 weeks in carpentry, general construction, and remedial education and provides post-training job referral and placement assistance.
