Provides social and recreational activities; arts and crafts; and nutritional and health programs to seniors primarily living in the southeastern part of San Francisco. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Classes include Bible study, exercise, line dancing, quilting, and water aerobics. Speakers provide health and community service information. Health screening is provided for blood pressure and podiatry. A barber is available weekly. Also provides income tax assistance and referrals for legal advice. Transportation is provided to and from the center (for eligible clients). The center is a Brown Bag food program site and sponsors a produce program. MUNI Fast Passes are also available. Eligibility 60 years of age or older. Lunch donation for seniors is $1.50; non seniors $3.25.
