General Medical Clinic
Some of the treatments provided included: colds, coughs, ear infections, sexually transmitted infections (men and women), skin problems, urinary tract infections, minor wounds, burns, feet soaking, TB tests, vaginal yeast infections, and pregnancy tests. We cannot provide annual GYN exams or general physical exams.

Drop-in one-to-one counseling. FREE, confidential service provided by lay volunteers trained in active listening skills. This is NOT an appropriate resource for prescription refill.
Ongoing scheduled individual counseling may be set up through drop-ins. Call for more information.

Must be there by the time the dental clinic opens to be included in the lottery. Exams, extractions, fillings and x-rays only. Lottery system to determine who will be seen that night.

Volunteer staff and space are limited, therefore the waiting time during an initial visit could take several hours. It is recommended that clients bring a support person and something to read. Routine exam includes: blood test for syphilis, physical exam for bumps/lesions, urine test for gonorrhea, chlamydia or other bacterial infection of the urethra, education about safer sex and all STDs including HIV. All services are free and confidential. Needle exchange, HIV testing. Services are first come first served.

510-644-0425 Women may drop in Saturdays from noon to 2 pm. Men drop in on Sundays from 4pm to 7pm. Open to anyone over the age of 12. Completely anonymous - no names are used.
