Immediate needs of the homeless are addressed, from use of telephones and a bathroom to case management and counseling. Case managers are available to discuss an individual's specific circumstances and locate the resources within Central City Hospitality House and throughout the city that can satisfy individual needs. Services can include peer counseling, substance abuse counseling and harm reduction services, finding employment, and obtaining letters of residency to qualify for General Assistance. Provides free voicemail for clients. Also operates a clothing closet and provides referrals for shelters and emergency and long-term housing.

This program is focused on homeless people, low-income persons, veterans, transgender, bisexuals, gay men, lesbians and Tenderloin residents. No one will be discriminated against for any reason. First come, first served basis. Can provide mailing address, free voicemail, phone use. Also drop-in counseling, case management, referral, clothing and intake for the Hospitality House Men's Case Management Dormitory. Offers a Transgender Support Group Mondays from 1pm-2:30pm. Wheelchair/restroom accessible.

Groceries are distributed on Wednesdays to a limited number of persons who obtain a free ticket in the morning. Snacks and entertainment are usually provided on Fridays. Hot coffee is normally provided daily. Simple hygiene supplies like disposable razors, soap, combs, toothpaste and brushes, and feminine products can be normally obtained on request.
