Provides personal money management, legal support and protective services to older individuals, individuals with AIDS/HIV disease and other adults who are functionally impaired or seriously ill. Assists clients with banking, bill-paying, budgeting, monitoring medical insurance claims forms, filing and organizing financial materials for income taxes and prepaying funeral/burial arrangements. Will also serve as a representative payee to handle Social Security benefits, as a durable power of attorney for financial decisions, conservator of estate, conservator of the individual and as Responsible Party for individuals who need a co-signatory to gain admission to a skilled nursing facility and as executor of the estate.
