Offers supportive services for grandparents and other relatives caring for children whose parents cannot or will not care for them because of substance abuse problems, mental illness, incarceration, illness or death, economic hardships, and other community and family crisis'. In addition to providing emotional support, program members and staff serve as advocates for relative caregivers before city agencies, the educational system, the justice system and policy makers. Offers biweekly support groups in the Bayview Hunters Point, Mission, Chinatown, Sunset, and Western Addition communities.

Provides practical information about parenting, childcare, substance abuse, and entitlements. Support groups are facilitated by grandparents and professionals from the health and social services field.

An Independent Living Skills Program for teenagers (age 13-17) includes computer training, tutorial services, life skill classes, field trips, other educational activities and recreational activities.

The Transitional Housing Program Plus offers independent living skills for kinship youth ages 18-24 years who have aged-out of the foster care system.

The Youth Advocacy Program provides tutoring, academic enrichment and support, life skills activities, and cultural/recreational activities for youth (age 0-13).
