M-F: 9:30-11:30am; 1pm-3pm

Provides rental assistance to very low-income families (with at least 1 child under 18) facing evictions in order to maintain affordable housing by preserving long-term tenancies and preventing homelessness. The program assists tenants who owe back rent, tenants who have been served with eviction lawsuit who need assistance with back rent in order to preserve their housing.

The tenant may receive assistance but money resources are limited. The payment will be paid directly to the landlord. 1 time grant.

Families with at least 1 child under 18; must be able to pay ongoing rent; proof of income, proof of tenancy; proof of amount of rent owed; proof of amount of monthly rent. Funds can be applied for at the Eviction Defense Collaborative.
