Provides 24 hour staffing for residential programs. Offers drug and alcohol residential treatment programs for pregnant women and women with children ages 5 and under. Also, offers a residential drug and alcohol program for couples, men and women. Provides therapeutic drug free environments; peer support; relapse prevention; and case management services. Duration of stay varies according to programs (client must be willing to commit to the entire stay). Visits are restricted and monitored for the first 45 days of treatment. Family reunification service is also available for clients. Also offers outpatient substance abuse services with child care to women and men. Fee: sliding scale; Medi-Cal accepted. Mission: Jelani Inc. is a social services agency providing substance abuse treatment for women, women with children, pregnant and postpartum women, men with children and families. The agency also provides family services and services for the children of our clients. There are three residential programs offering a comprehensive approach through modified therapeutic communities, case management and after-care. Jelani Inc. believes in the right and ability of each individual to heal from substance abuse and dependence in an environment of support from their peers and guidance from expert staff.
