The Mayor's Office on Disability (MOD) is responsible for overseeing the implementation and local enforcement of the City and County of San Francisco's obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as well as other federal, state, and local access codes and disability rights laws.
MOD staffs the Mayor's Disability Council (MDC), which serves as the primary liaison to the disability community for the City. Public meetings are held the third Friday of the month from 1:00-4:00 p.m. in City Hall, Room 400. Public input is welcomed at every meeting. MOD assists in resolving ADA complaints and requests for accommodations. If you need assistance, or have an ADA grievance against and City program or service, please contact us.
