Organization of families helping families of the mentally ill through education, support and advocacy. Support group meetings with guest speakers are held the third Wednesday of every month (except during the month of August) at Family Service Agency, 1010 Gough Street, 5th Floor, from 6:30pm-8pm. Meetings are open to individuals with mental health diagnosis and their families and friends. Experts in the community share info and answer questions about mental illness. Telephone support line answered by volunteers who call individuals who leave a message. Free service.
