A transitional housing program for 11 single mothers recently released from County Jail or California State Prison. Facilities offer each resident her own living space to allow her to reunify with up to two children age six and under. Residents participate in individual and group therapy, counseling, and job search. The average length of stay for women and their children is 4-9 months.
