Provides services to aid in the prevention of blindness. Offers a preschool vision screening for children (age 3-5), glaucoma screening, an eye safety program taught in schools. Provides free publications on diabetes and vision, glaucoma, cataracts, the Aging Eye and a guide book "Coping with Sight Loss in Northern California" available in large print, tape or Braille. Some brochures are available in Chinese and Spanish. Home eye tests are available for adults and preschool age children (age 3-5) to test their vision in their own homes. Also offers films, audio cassettes and continuing education for eye care professionals.
